Rentd is like no other platform currently allowing users to conclude the entire process of renting or letting your home via an application. We at Rentd are creating a new eco-system in this very old fashioned market. We cannot deny that technology has not already entered the residential rental market, however we can say that our technology shall make it seamless for the user to achieve their goal with near no human interaction. Our product shall relieve tenants and landlords from all the aggravation currently involved everyday in the market. London has become a city of renters for generations to come due to the difficulty of buying a home. Millennials rent for 9 years on average and over 50% of the capital is in the rented sector. The government has been trying to create a solution for the amount of fees tenants are paying and Rentd tackles this problem head on prior to any fee bans taking place. Our ambition was to create a new marketplace in an industry with no real innovation in years gone by. Creating a product with the user at the focal point of the experience. Our purpose
By consistently striving for empowerment, transparency, and connectivity, Rentd has created a
digital platform that takes renting into the virtual world, thus challenging a market
currently dominated by high street estate agents and DIY online platforms. The platform
empowers landlords and tenants to take back control of their rental journey. Rentd strives to
become a transparent and trusted on demand platform every step of the way without compromising
on customer service quality, as well as to consistently offer a holistic service to our
landlords for a fixed fee of £799 inc VAT with no hidden charges.
Our mission
Rentd’s key mission is to break through barriers which exist in today’s rental market for both landlords and prospective tenants by streamlining the cumbersome rental process with it’s cutting edge platform. Rentd replaces high agent fees with a fixed fee to landlords only, only payable once property is let, and no renewal fees. The business has a proven track record of reducing lengthy time-consuming processes from weeks, down to a matter of days. Lastly, Rentd addresses the lack of transparency and trust in the industry by opening lines of communication for tenants and landlords to negotiate rent, terms and conditions, directly with one another.

Founder
Ahmed previously the director of Sphinx Consultancy spanning 9 yrs in prime London property developments. Ahmed has consulted for major property transactions and development projects in the London residential sector. He also head-ups the on the ground team to spread the Rentd message to landlords and tenants.

Lawrence is the Co-Founder of Bunker Creative, a London based design and branding agency in London. Lawrence has worked with huge global brands to one-man start-ups and was responsible for the delivery of the Rentd user journey, UX and UI, brand and all creative elements.

Michael has 8 yrs experience in the residential lettings market. Throughout this time Michael has worked alongside London’s most accredited lettings agents and tenanted some of the city’s finest properties. Michael is our man on the ground, working with Ahmed to engage with landlords and tenants.
